That actually doesn't look bad at all, but improve the palette a bit, same with shadows.

Well, I decided to cancel AKIRASONIC... for a while.
that project was consuming too much mental energy. It was kinda painful to make an entire level art for a zone, and to make a FULLSHEET of a brand new character, and everything by myself.
And last but not least, it was torturing the anxiety of thinking about how I would need people to help me with my first, yet most ambitious project.
(I suck at programming. X_X)

In a few words, It wasn't fun anymore.
But, even If I stopped working with that project, I decided to make other!
I present you... Sonic & Sally!
A much less ambitious project, as you can see. The scolpe here is MUCH smaller.
Although, I still suck at 68k.
After I finish this small project, I'm going to work on AKIRASONIC again, don't worry, it was just delayed in order to get more experience to work on that game. :^>
I learned I can't be stupidly ambitious without having some skills first. :^P

(btw consider Sally colors being W.I.P. cuz I still didn't figure out how to make her colors fit with the same palette line as Sonic ;-; )

 

And now a new Sonic Goal Plate sprite. Made by me without traces.

Now it is time for me to wrap up my project with trailer that is coming to this year's hacking contest!

 

Hah! Wow, that was pretty cool~

It made me chuckle seeing the spring monitor. I would like to offer the suggestion to fix up the swinging ball on the EHZ boss though, it almost feels like the recreation swinging ball in Sonic & Knuckles' Sky Sanctuary Zone, where metal Sonic is swinging the ball, and it doesn't have that same sort of "fluid feel" to it. If you can nail that then you'll blow away all other poor attempts out there.

I don't know how you could make a hack look more like "Untitled Sonic Hack" by jubbalub than anything else, but you did it.
But still, great job on the hack, only thing that should be improved is the MZ water palette, it just looks kind of off.

 

It took me like an hour to make this title screen, but there's a lot of work left!

No, this won't be a surprise for SHC because I still need to do a lot of coding. Besides it's my first hack, why would I submit it lol.​

 

I started working on a little project that brings Sonic 2 Gamegear zones to "the real" Sonic 2, starting with Under Ground Zone. (also, yes there is no background at the moment). The zone art will be revamped and If I were good at programming there'll be a minecart that uses the rails.
(In actuality, this was gonna be made for a different project, but due to... an issue, that's been canned and I'm working on this on my own.)

 

To be your first hack, it looks really cool!
