    The development of Hellfire Saga is coming to an end. We have implemented all the ideas we had, the game is completable from start to finish. At the moment there are very small details and testing left until the project is completely finished. We can't give any exact dates yet, but we have something to show and we're sure that you won't have long to wait before we announce the release date.

    I ported Hyper Sonic from Sonic 3 & Knuckles backported to Sonic 1. It was hard to set up but I managed to get it working and I'm proud of how it turned out:

    It’s kind of an April Fool’s joke, but the ROM hack I’m working on based on this screenshot is real. It’s currently a private hack I’ve been working on since 2018, but I’ll release it whenever I have a chance…

    P.S. Please don’t ask or bug me about when this hack will be released.

    No, it's not a secret boss, but...

    In 2010-2011, I saw a video on YouTube featuring an updated boss for Hydrocity Zone Act 2. But it's been a long time, and now I can't find that video or even a ROM with that boss.

    Maybe some of you remember that video? In any case, I decided to try to recreate that boss from memory. And the ROM will also be available for download.

    Much like in Sonic 1 - Score Rush, the life system is pretty much gone, meaning that reaching zero points will result in your run ending.
