General Screenshot/Movie Thread

This is what my Marble Zone is looking like right now. I am still going to add more details to the background. Some sprites were placed in somewhat random places just for testing (like the animated flame in the bg).
I will adjust the colors a bit more and maybe recolor Sonic again.



Also, I was sick of MZ music, so, I just put another one. (Just in the video. sad.)

 

The not-so-long-awaited boss rush hack sequel is in works. Title SMPS by LordXernom.
And yes, SSQ is cancelled.

The Machine from Sonic Spinball in S3&K - Work In Progress.

 

I have a few questions:
1) Doesn't C come after B?
2) Sonic Scorched Quest is canceled? For what reasons?
Until I see something I can't say I have any expectations, but I'll look forward to it once I see a screenshot or something.

 

Plan C was a joke video on his channel.

 

1. As said, C was a joke on my channel (you could also explain it as stock S2 being plan C)
2. It isn't, I had to do some AF joke after all

WIP Boss arena for Olein Cavern Zone, Time Castle Zone (with more custom objects), and Time Lord Zone. Socket the Hedgeduck isn't dead, just haven't had much time to work on it, due to some professional work.

Time Castle Zone (which replaces over SBZ), has been hacked to be a proper 3-act zone (without that SBZ3=LZ4 and SBZ3=Final Zone crap in stock Sonic 1), with TCZ4 being Time Lord Zone.

 

Successfully installed S3 Flamewing's Driver and custom SMPS. The Machine Zone Work In Progress. Special thanks for JDPense for help with S3. BTW somebody knows how to fix SMPS notes glitches in S3?

 

Meet the new character in Chaos Quest - Espio the Chameleon!

A very interesting detail is associated with him -

Some entries from Espio's logbook will appear between the levels. They describe the story and thoughts of Espio about the quest. Actually, you already know the beginning of the plot)

 

While I feel like this is a novel idea, I can't help the fact that it might halt the pace of the overall experience, I mean, the concept itself isn't bad but what's important is the execution.
This is gonna keep me interested tho.

 

It's not a video showing off any new progress in Sonic Legacy since that hack has its own WIP thread for things like that. Instead, this video shows off 8 SMPSes I've made as part of an SMPSing spree. The songs are:

Sonic 4 Episode I - Splash Hill Zone Act 1
Sonic Adventure 7 - Stages 1 & 3 (Non-Earrape Mix)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Master System) - Boss Battle (16-bit)
Sword of Mana - Seeking the Holy Sword

All of these SMPSes have been tested and will work with Sonic 1's vanilla sound driver. They can be downloaded here.

 

Neat. You think you can do Non-earrape versions of the POKéMON Adventure songs as well? :3
In case you're wondering: POKéMON Adventure is a hack of Sonic Adventure 7 and is what I'm trying to remake with Pikachu the Mouse.

 

The only thing I can reply with is:

 

@Trinitronity I was only able to do the Non-Earrape Mix of that Sonic Adventure 7 song because it's based on another arrangement heard in a fangame called Sonic Blasting Adventure.
