HELP!!!

Im in progress of making a hack called Sonic vs Metal and i want to know how to make a cheat to make metal playable.


I just want to know how and what programs,

Well firstly what game is this for? It might be easier to use Sonic 2, you can then replace Tails' art with Metal Sonic and disable the ability to select Tails from the options menu. Then modify one of the cheats like all emeralds to enable Metal Sonic, or something like that. Would be time consuming but not too difficult. Check out the video tutorial on how to set up a Sonic 2 disassembly if you're not sure, it's in the tutorials section on the main site.

 

You can use this guide to have another character in Sonic 1.

 

I followed the tutorial and now i have metal sonic in sonic 1 (well i still have to finish the sprites)
