Issues with [code] tag

For some reason, when enter text after a

Code:

 tag, it is automatically deleted. There is no reason for that to happen.

edit: replaced square brakets with round brakets because, ironically, IPB destroyed this post as well


One thing I noticed is that (code) automatically turns into (code=auto:0), and a lot of formatting (tabs and newlines, maybe something else) is lost in the process. Which is why I made those 9 posts in a row when I wrote that guide about different songs everywhere, I didn't want to lose everything whenever I edited one of the sections...
