Before any n00bs ask where the music locations for Sonic 1 are, I'm gonna show you where they are(and they're accurate, as surprising as that is). I know, but there's still undern00bs who can't read pointers. Besides, this makes it quicker and easier to find the locations. And besides, I found these by hand

 

Someone would have to be seriously dumb to not be able to read a 32-bit absolute pointer.

 

I actually still don't understand them, but if I did, then I would be knowledgeable in all areas.


But seriously, if anyone can help me understand the S2 compression. Whenever I try to compress or decompress a music file, it doesn't work. So, if anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.
