s1build trouble

http://forums.sonicresearch.org/index.php?showtopic=436I have the same problem as this but this don't work on me. the first time I used the "Sonic_1_(Split_and_Text_by_Hivebrain)", I used the split.bat, made some modifications, then used the build.bat and it gave me a 1kb s1built.bin. the 2nd time I saved a blank ASM text file as s1comb.asm, then build.bat then it gave me the same thing. Should I download one with the file s1comb.asm or what?

 

I used to provide a version of Hivebrain's disassembly which included the empty s1comb.asm file, but Tweaker didn't want to upload it to the retro wiki because of redundancy. I personally think it saves a lot of confusion.


As for your problem, you can try using my debug_build.bat which generates text files containing the output which you can open and either troubleshoot or paste here.
