I ported Labyrinth Zone from Sonic 1 to Sega CD sucessfully, but with an underwater pallete problem:

The underwater pallete is not even edited.

Also, the SFXs such as the rolling and collapsing sounds, does not fade out.

Someone tell me how to fix these problems?

ok we need a bit of background information before we can help, is the level ported stand alone? what dissasembely is it based on? and how did you recompile it to run without the rest of the rom?

    I used Luke_ProjectCD.

For the levels for example: for Green Hill Zone, I take a Sonic 1 disassembly, let it load the 256x256 chunks from ROM, get rid of the Title Screen ,LZ, MZ, etc. related stuff, so the rom size shrinks down to 256kb. Also add the org $200000 at the beginning of the asm, and Remove the ROM Header.

    The underwater problem is fixed.

What is left to fix now is the SFXs.
