anyway, what does everyone think of them Cream sprites?

 

Those Cream sprites are surprisingly bearable, but my notion on having her in the game still remains the same.

 

If you do end up using those sprites, please remove the smile from every frame except the standing one. It looks weird having her smile constantly.

Anyway, those sprites could work. Only concern is Cream looks really short in those sprites, but it might look better in-game.

 

The way it's going, Cream will be scrapped anyway.

 

I would personally like to see Cream in this. She's rarely used and it would be nice to see her playable in at least 1 hack.


I really think you should use those Cream sprites I PM'd you with over at Sonic Retro. There a lot better than the ones you've chosen so far. But, it's your decision.

Seriously though, when you played either Sonic Advance 2 or 3, did any of you play as Cream for a significant amount of time?

 

Well the only person I could ever beat SA2 was with Cream and never anyone else.

 

The only reason why I put her in the hack is because it would be unique (I've been told one person has put Cream in their hack but unknown who).

 

I would tend to agree, I would like to see someone new in a modification...even if it is Cream. Like RHS said, it would be unique.

 

The Mighty sprites are being promoted to S3K style so it'll match Sonic's, Tails' and Knuckles' S3K styles. It's still in production. All his walkings have been done and a little of his running and his twirl (when you hit the spring).





Mighty does a wall-jump thing in Chaotix, and I am going to put this ability into the game. I managed to make him grab onto the wall but that's about it so I'm still working on that. No shot on it though, as his art is not done for it.

This is his walking sprites. His running has been done, but he looks like a twat when he does it. I'm going to have to edit his animations to make it look good if I can, otherwise, he's going to be scrapped.


Please ignore the fact that Cream is following him, I haven't touched her so she is just there. I'll get rid of her soon, unless I get told yo use them new sprites of her.

Wonderful, though the Shadow sprites could use some slight work on.

 

I think shadow and mighty is best characters after sonic tails and knuckles. I just hate cream. I hate any new characters, because they are just like care bears. Anyway, you did nice work when adding cream in it. Cream look somehow classic.

Cream would be a new mechanic. I really doubt that RHS using Cream will start a new trend. It is just an unique addition. Personally I have grown up in SNES/Genesis era, and have a deep love for Sonic games, and Cream does not bother me THAT much.....If you can't stand her, don't play as her.


As far as I can tell, you are not forced to play as Cream....at this time she is the last unlockable character.


I guess I don't see what the big deal is.

Since RHS is having a S3&K style on the characters, I have to say about the S3&K Shadow, that is some good shit & those in Recreation would be brilliant.
