Here is a project that I have been working on for over 2 years and it's very close to being finished. I'm fixing the data pointers and will update this when I'm done.

The work I have done so far is here:
    Link Permanently Removed

Note: This was made with IDA 6.6 so it may or may not work with older versions.

Do you mind elaborating what this dissassembly is? It's just that your post doesn't really give enough information besides it's for Sonic 2. Thanks in advance.

It's a disassembly of the 68k portion of the release candidate prototype version of Sonic 2

EDIT: I can't seem to find this version of S2 on retro anywhere.

    What, beta 8? There's a lot of S2 prototypes.

Trash please I just found out that this is a hack based off the Wai prototype sorry. I didn't know at first and will be doing the beta 8. I will start a new thread when I finish it.

You spent nearly two years disassembling something that you thought was a beta, that eventually turned out to be a hack?
That's gotta suck, dude. I wish you the best of luck on your next disassembly.

Shucks, I feel the same way as TheStoneBanana. It's a shame that the ROM turned out to be a hack; all that time wasted. I'm still going to keep this disassembly for archival purposes, though. Can you reprovide the link to it?

Why bother? You could easily remake this with the current Sonic 2 Beta disasm in about 2 hours, ok, maybe 4 considering the title cards.
