    Level Names:

    EHZ - Amethyst Isle Zone

    HTZ - Topaz Heights Zone

    OOZ- Sapphire Sea Zone

and that's the level names I've come up with now.

For the love of god, can someone make a tutorial about SonEd2 and mention that SonEd2 + ESE DOES NOT WORK?!?

Anyway, to answer your problem about the text, I suggest looking through S2.asm and looking for the title card mappings. That tells each letter where to go. However, you have to figure out what each location and tiles to load.

Also, please use .png files for pictures. Not everyone has broadband.

Thanks for the advice, but information about what you think of the Rom would be nice, see that this is only build one and know where to go next with this would be terrific.

Well, I'd rather see screenshots before downloading a ROM.

And please, don't use MegaUpload. Or Rapidshit for that matter. They waste time, then tell you the download is invalid unless you have a premium account. Just use upload.retrohack.org as it is free. Or get your own hosting.

Same for images. Don't upload them to the post, and don't upload them as .bmp files. They are too big.

Please don't post something until you have something to post. Having less than a quarter of EHZ done and posting it up just amounts to boring. Also, like Sephy said, ESE and Soned2 don't mix.

Most of the non-level editing features in ESE can be done fairly easily in the assembly anyway.

In regards to uploads, I would say put it on hacktube (as that is essentially free hack hosting), but only once you have something reasonably presentable, i.e. not this.

Maybe that will make it so people only post their hacks when they're good :p we can hope...

Yeah. Post it on hacktube, where there is no moderation at all, it's okay, just post whatever you want, and it wont be removed! sure!

Well Build 4/GHZ beta is done, but I still haven't been able to change the Level Headers, mostly because I'm not quite sure how to do that with an Assembled Rom, Or Assembly data...
