Sonic 3 A.I.R. (Angel Island Revisited)

So it doesn't require Steam, I might give this a try eventually.

In the mean time, someone posted about this on Sonic Retro and he'd like if the author could read the feedback over there as well, so... :U

 

It's amazing that this was finished so quickly.

This would be my definitive way to play S3 too, but I'm a big fan of everything Sonic 3 Complete has to offer too so it's still a bit of a competition.
I'll be sure to give this a proper shot eitherway, thanks to everything it adds as well.

Just played it for a bit, narrowly missed the second special stage ring and it vanished never to return. Didn't even get to enter the stage

That, and the achievements are a great addition, but I feel like there should be some simpler ones. Most of these I'd have to go out of my way to get, when in most games you tend to get achievements as you play.
