Sonic Back In Time Final Release!
    From the Retro-Cube team
    [IMG]
Let's pass to consideration of this hack
    innovations:
    - New good levels! (in each zone different levels!)
    - Interesting features!
    - Easter Eggs!
    - Corrections of bugs!
    - New bugs (though they also are most likely)
    - Two endings! (Everything is solved in a final zone)
    - A little waste and strangenesses in easter eggs (for whom as)
    - Modifed bosses in GHZ, SLZ!
    - Stylization of the game AKA Sonic 3 + Sonic CD
    - The gameplay and hack idea is improved
    A little history!
Eggman outright became angry after events in sonic 3...
He thought over the plan of an revenge... And create the terrifying thing "Deformator of time"
It started it and transferred Sonic to the different distorted times from where he and should get out having destroyed base of an eggman where this installation was stored. To it not to be chosen just like that and you will not get off with death! Will have to revenge it for deeds.
In base of an Eggman "Deformator time" does not work.

This version of the hack is way better then the Hacking Contest build! I did tho manage to glitch the game out tho in Dream Island present by doing a spindash in the start of the game. I like this hack. Nice job.

This was one of the good hacks from this year's Hacking Contest.

    BUT IS IT?

I gave the SHC2015 edition a go; only makes sense to try this one out too!

Whoa, that looks really amazing! Great work.
Edit: Final Boss killed me and i got a ending where i see a sonic statue, and everything is grey. I reached the Bad Ending, didn't i?

I saw that already. In the first, there is a error message, and on the second someone is singing a melody, and there is a windows screen. What happens on the good ending?

The first boss is simple but very creative. So creative that I had to record it.

Decided to do another playthrough of this. This is what I thought.
The SEGA music is faster. Was better before
Retrocube splash was missing colours on the side closest. Why not use the colours on the top and side? And, I think that the Team Ladego Splash Screen looked better
Nice take on the Beta Leaf Forest song. Fitting for its purpose!
Sound test a little annoying because it starts a song when I press left or right
Thank god for no "BUT IS IT?" screen!
Have you taken my idea into account about different versions of the Zone music to fit the time zone?

    DREAM ISLAND
The layouts were pretty good and had lots of alternate routes. Palettes were good too. The layout wasn't the same with small object layout changes. The boss was good, perhaps a little generic to start with but it got a little hard towards the end. It is supposed to be the first boss in the game, right?

    CASINO STREET
Casino Street's layouts are pretty brilliant but there are a few odd chunks lying around the Past act. The only art changes were in the Future, and Past and Present backgrounds. The Past palette needs to be original and both it and Present's foreground art, needs updating. The boss is pretty much useless and time wasting. I've got a few ideas if you want them, but it's up to you to do what you really want to happen. Oh, and the name Casino Street is already taken.

    MYSTERIOUS RUINS
Layouts were pretty good, but a little short. Palettes need to be reworked especially past and present. Art was pretty good and I liked that background for the future. Boss needs to fine-tuned to be less dickish. And, I don't believe the timpanis in the start were there before. It sounded better without them.

    NIGHT CITY
Layouts were fast and fantastic with a bit of platforming here and there to make it even more brilliant! My only problem is in the Past act, as there is a few bottomless pits around that could either be covered up or turned into alternate routes. The palettes were cool but what happened to the art I saw on the General Screenshot Thread a few months ago?! THAT was brilliant. Please at least try to bring it back... =(
This stage's boss IMO, was PISS easy... If you wanted to make Pinch mode a bit more panic-y, why not add another laser shooter to the mix?

    EGG STATION
Where is it?! Where is that beautiful level!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

    FINAL
The final boss is still as annoying as hell... What annoys me even more is that if I die, the game ends! I don't think that's any sort of way to finish a game in my book.

I love decisions! BUT IS IT?
    Nice touch!

This has had some major improvements since last version but many good elements have been taken away too. If you could return them while keeping the other good elements and fixing the bugs, this will be perfect!! I don't think this is fit for a final release yet but once it's perfect, then throw in the towel for this project. Good luck! ;)

    BUT IS IT? xD

The Sonic sprites seems odd. Maybe I could contribute.

It looks like Sonic's floating above the ground by one pixel when he walks. Also, it looks like he goes halfway through the loops although this is more noticable in Night City:

You should rip the sprites from a Sonic 3K disassembly. It's incredibly easy. All you have to do is set the game type to Sonic 3, import the files to SonMapED, change around the palette (use the "preserve image" palette switching option), set the game type to Sonic 1, and save the filesmto your disassembly. The time consuming part will be switching the animation frames in Sonic's animation file but that won't take too long. Also, follow this tutorial if you haven't already.
