So yeah, I next to NEVER post here, in fact, logging on to post about this, I had to get out of Trialers (10/10 score xD) Anyway, to get down to business, I've been working on and off on a disassembly of Sonic CD 510, and I thought I might as well share here for the members that don't chill over at Sonic Retro. This will be up on the Sonic Retro SVN in a matter of days as I iron out some problems and get a few more pieces of code disassembled, but for now, here is the current stable building disasm: http://www.segaloco.com/!crap/retro/CD...711-0147PM).zip

So far I have the IP, SP, IPX, Sega Screen, and Title Screen completed. I'm working on the Special Stage as we speak. Anyway, in order for this to be effective right now you simply need to overwrite the data in the ISO with the rebuilt MMD from this. For a list of file locations in the ISO see the SCHG for Sonic CD 510. To make this easier, I made a simple little utility that slips the file in so long as it isn't bigger than the "slot" for the file (i.e. it doesn't run over into the next file). You can get that here: http://www.segaloco.com/!crap/retro/mmdmerge.c

I also have project files for PlaneED for the Sega Screen and Title Screen plane graphics. Those are available here: http://www.segaloco.com/!crap/retro/Pl...%20Projects.zip

Lastly, here is a hack I've begun that is meant to remove the demo elements from 510 (the Comin' Soon screen, the vocal credits on the title screen, the developer text in special stages, etc..) I'm calling it Sonic CD 510 No-Demo for now and you can get that here: http://www.segaloco.com/!crap/retro/CD510NoDemo.7z

Have fun and look here for updates (albeit slightly less regularly than Sonic Retro.)

Oh, one more thing, you'll probably want the project link on Sonic Retro: http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=23864

Oh, and one MORE thing xD, here are some modifications I did to test special stages (which had formerly never been controlled in Sonic CD 510): http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=23875 (This was really early along in my disassembly, I don't even have the versions of the files now that I had then, that's why that was so hacky when I put it together)

Edit: Oh, and I don't frequent this site as you can see from my post count, so if this is in the wrong place, sorry staff, move it where it needs to be I guess <_<

Sorry for the bump but the links to the SegaLoco site aren't working anymore, they give 404.

Its a shame I would love to hack this game.

Hint: Three word posts won't get you anywhere.
