Common dude, do a bit of research before asking a question.
Learn to read, people. The deadlines are posted in the first post of this thread and also on the official website too. Just over two weeks left of submitting to the contest!
Okay thanks, i know for the 9th but i don't exactly remember, thanks!
I have a bad internet connection these days, i try to do a restricted navigation.
Considering how much you use these forums I don't know how you can use that as an excuse for not looking at the OP.
Except to answer here, I do not use SSRG now. T-T
It's funny that you think we have been out of line when giving you C&C, it's your own fault you don't want to use SSRG because you can't take any criticism and think negative criticism people give you means they are bashing you because they don't like you(I wouldn't be surprised if that was true now after the way you have been acting). We have said a lot of nice things too and actually there has been more nice things, it's already been established that we think your hack is good and good for a beginner which is something we don't normally say to newbies, so I don't understand why you think we hate you.. this is just insulting to us for trying to help and by the way we don't really care if you don't use SSRG anymore in all honesty IMO your attitude is something we are trying to cut down here. So leave if you want but you have no one to blame but yourself. Also xeal is right that was not a valid excuse since you have been here for a while and should know how to use and navigate the site. I can tell you think his comment was out of line, well your response was pretty much saying "Fuck You" just in a nicer way. I thought I could sit back and not get envolved but your overal attitude has been really pissing me off, and it takes a lot to actually piss me off. Good day sir!!
You say you understand but you really, really don't, as your attitude has been pointed out on several occasions yet you keep acting like an asshole for no reason. If you decide to piss off from the forum then fine but do realize that your own asinine behavior and backwards way of thinking is on you, not us, so don't you DARE think that we are forcing you out in any sense. This silliness is your own doing.
Now I'm really lost what you're trying to say Ashuro... I think you should focus on your work, than writing odd posts like this - "Okay thanks, i know for the 9th but i don't exactly remember, thanks! I have a bad internet connection these days, i try to do a restricted navigation." , "Except to answer here, I do not use SSRG now. T-T Anyway, thanks!" Excuse me, what do you mean by that? I think open SHC thread or main site for reading information isn't a hardcore challenge nowadays...
Okay, I think he gets the message now; there's no need to keep going on at him. I'll unlock this topic once Ashuro has something worthy about the hack he wants to talk about, but until then, it's remaining locked.
I expect your new reviews, now the game can be finished.
What even are you on about, what was the purpose of that post? Is a new version up, or are you trying to tell people this hack is still being work on?
Many peoples haven't been able to finish this hack because of many issues with some levels.
The Ashuro's sprites are improved, he don't look like a sonic recolor anymore.
And i have fixed some issues, then now my hack is totally playable, and maybe i can have better opinions on it, that's all. Should not?
If your hack is finished, why not release it so people have the opportunity to review it. None of what you said has made any sense.
I'm not sure to understand but, my hack (3.4 version) is downloadable at the first post...
This is what you want to say?
...then state that you've updated the original post for fucks sake.
EDIT - Seriously start paying attention to things and quit being so absent minded.
Alright, so I'm gonna play this update. I'm gonna say this now, I honestly did not like this hack before. The only level I could actually enjoy was Green Hill Zone. Besides that the rest of the levels had bad palettes, art, and level design. Let's hope to see that you actually fixed some of the stuff. Anyways, I'm gonna edit this post once I'm done playing it, as I've been meaning to review this hack for awhile.
Oh, and also, you could have just said "the hack is updated", you didn't have to confuse everyone with an extremely vague post written using Google Translate.
Edit: Alright so I've just played most of this hack (skipped a few parts because I was bored). Anyways, let's see if you improved or not.
Green Hill Zone: This is still my favorite zone in this game. You actually bothered changing most of the GHZ tiles (which a lot of people neglect to do). There's really not much to say though. There were a few problems with stuff (I went through a wall and fell to my doom) and getting through big loops is a pain. For music, it's ok. I don't get the music choice for Act 2, and Act 3's music channels (?) keep on going off or something. Also, speaking of music, the boss music goes really fast when having speed shoes. Like, really fucking fast. Change that.
Also, time for some images of problems I've noticed..
I got stuck here. I couldn't spindash or jump either so I had to reset. I was able to jump in the wall by jumping from the bottom of the floor, so you should fix that. Also, Ashuro's new sprites are pretty ugly. The eyes look bad (you didn't even finish most of the sprites to have the new eyes).
There's also a moment in Act 3 where you get an extra life (at the beginning of the level mind you), and as Ashuro you can climb up a wall to find ANOTHER LIFE only a few feet away. Although you sort of have been keeping the amount of 1up boxes down, there's still a ton of them (you'll be seeing me mention lives a lot)
Not Marble Zone: It's Marble Zone. Still pretty slow, tedious, and boring. Still has bad palettes. And is still bleh. At least you fixed the problem with the character switch monitors where you can get stuck in areas as Sonic that only Ashuro can go through (everyone remembers the SomeCallMeJohnny stream)
Oh look you still have these bottomless pits in the beginning of the level. You won't believe how many times I've died here.
Ok, let me explain here. So earlier on in the level (I was playing Act 1 as Ashuro) you get a switch monitor which turns you into Sonic. But RIGHT NEXT to this place is another switch monitor. Why? What was the point?
Ugh... you STILL have this bad palette? Also, it's hard to tell what you can stand on here.
Not Spring Yard Zone: It's, once again, the same bland zone. It's somewhat improved though (keyword somewhat). Sometimes when playing though the level feels empty. You'll see in a second..
Ok, so you give us a life monitor RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LEVEL? You're like the Dimps of Extra Life Monitors. Like Dimps' use of speedboosters, there's lives EVERYWHERE.
Man do I feel bad for Metal Sonic. He went from being the best Sonic CD boss fight to a simple enemy which can be killed in one hit. Sad.
2 problems: 1) Extra lives at the beginning of a level and 2) the cut off tiles here.
I have a feeling there's supposed to be objects here...
Not Labyrinth Zone: Same shit, got bored after a few seconds.
Not Star Light: It's alright. The palettes are somewhat better (once again, somewhat). Besides that, it's the same shit. The level layouts are only somewhat better.
Once again, meaningless extra life. Along side a switch monitor and a 50 ring box. It doesn't help that...
...there's another 50 ring box right after that other area.
I don't know about you, but I don't remember when loops were this thin.
The palette for Act 2 is better, though it still has it's problems (See: that green stuff and the purple walls)
Alright, so it's explanation time: You see this area? You need to get through that hole on the top. However, the only way you get there is by using physics to get there, which if you were like me, you wouldn't realize you were supposed to do that when you first get here. On my first time playing this game, I got stuck here. And the fact that you kept this area the whole time, makes me mad.
Not Wood Zone: It's Wood Zone. And if you knew me you would know that I don't like Wood Zone. It's art just looks bad. So seeing this here is just... bleh. Wood Zone is too blocky for my tastes.
Oh hello messed up bullet art. It's nice to see you.
There are some other zones I think, but I'm too lazy to play them. Anyways, this hack is alright, though it still could use a lot of fixing. Also, one thing. You had the homing attack in the old versions, and you still have some homing attack chains in this, so why? Not only that, but when you use the jump dash and hit an enemy, you go up like you would when you kill an enemy after homing attacking it, so why? Oh, and cut down on the extra life monitors. K thax <3
Based on the little that I have played (whole of Green Hill + whole of Pyramid Trap + Act 1 of Industrial Zone), the level design seems to have improved. For one, I cannot get stuck as Sonic anymore.
However, some of the bad songs are still there.
Pyramid Trap Act 3's palette may have been improved, but it's still not good enough.
And most of all: You still can only switch between characters through the special switch monitor.
I mean, sure, I can't get stuck as Sonic anymore, but that's still kinda backwards IMO.
