Sonik Sprite Problem

Hi I'm new to the Sonik Sprite editor and I have a noob question^^. When I start my Sonik Sprite Edito and load a rom into it and I want to edit the sprites I must see that the characters have no colors please help. thx

Well, you should post a Screenshot. I've never heard about this problem! Maybe your Sonic 1 ROM is corrupted. If so, then you should download a new ROM!

Here is the link to my screenshot and I downloaded many sonic 1 roms but it's always the same problem -.-

 

That happened to me, too if I wanted to import new sprites.. I have no clue, seriously.

 

The problem is the Palette. It must be the palette you can see on the top right side. Also the ROM must be 512 KB! If not, you should use another ROM. If you want, you can give me the ROM with the Personal Manager. I will try my best!

 

My rom is 512 KB. But I dont understand what is wrong with my palette but do you have a link to a sonic 1 rom that I can use?

 

Posting ROM links is illegal. I'll do it with the Personal Manager.

thats what happened to me as well.........you should use SonMapEd in my opinion.........thats WHAT I USE to edit sprites

I have no clue about SonMapEd ... The only one thing I can do is adding parts of sprites

 

I looked at SonMapEd too and I really don't know how to use it^^'

 

Soon I'm gonna play with it to test the basics.

SonMapEd is realy easy to use! But you need a Split Disassembly to use it! Here is the Link to the SonMapEd Tutorial.
