Then it's just your computer, because I'm using Gens all the time and never had a problem. But whatever.

If you're talking about the pallet, you could change the turquoise to something different, maybe like... this?

I'm not a big fan of the bright pink/red colour, but I took that into consideration for the question below:

    Palette 01: [IMG]

    Palette 02: [IMG]

    Palette 03: [IMG]

Whichever one gets the most votes is the one that will stay.

    I vote this one.

Oh, and grey the yellow a tiny bit. I think that it may balance the colors.

If that one does get picked, I'll do that.

I like the first pallet. The third one is rather good as well, but seems to be too bright.

By the way these pallets remind me of Hydrocity somehow.

I prefer the palette No 1, because in my opinion not mountain roses blends with water zones, but still its good, but my vote goes to palette nº1.

    Anyway, Another open Q:

What would you guys like to see in my hack? Specific Music? Level Art?

I'm asking this question because I have no real idea of what to do on this hack.

What I really need to do is to make it a bit more than that 'First Foray into the world of ASM' that I describe it in this topic's first post.

Updated the video link in my first post, since my previous account kept being spammed.

Anyway, What happened to the answers to my Question above?

I love the palettes, though you might want to play with the CPZ underwater palette, and perhaps if the Level Select background was darker. Though I preferred the purple ARZ, all of them looked great.

What I would suggest focusing on in your hack right now would be level layouts and perhaps some art.

Well, I COMPLETELY fail at designing decent level layouts, which is why I have only about 1/4 of EHZ done after about 10 months.

Though, I will take your idea of a darker level select BG into consideration.

*Adds the idea to his to-do list*

Just remember guys, if you feel if you want to help me in some way, Drop me a PM and we'll discuss.
