new badniks are always nice to see, they dont get done much

 

i am currently in the process of adding a new options menu (with special thanks to a good friend of mine for helping me set up the art), though i have yet to actually make it function
this new menu is for a rom hack i'm going to call "Sonic 2 Complete", which gives the player control over various features for a customized playthrough

 

Here is a screenshot of Sonic Borderline (previously named as Sonic Megadriven), I think It will be ready in the next months

Heya peoples, figured I'd show you a small little update on the Mean Bean hack. So we've finally managed to get the crumbling floor animations working! We also managed to get a new board for Versus Mode in the game, which is Board B from Puyo Puyo Tsuu (now with Lava Reef's palette) Crosspost from @DaxKatter over on Sonic Retro

 

Ported this to a Sonic 2 hack of mine. I might release a video of it in action in the near future.

felt i was sort of rusty after not rom hacking for a boiling hot second so ive put my current hack on hold for a bit
this new project is one im using to get myself back into the swing of things and hopefully learn asm for myself, i dont have a name for it yet but im just putting whatever i want to put in the hack
i guess it'll build itself as it goes, the only inspirations that may factor in to how it turns out are ERaZor and Brutal Sonic

 

Mhm, I’m not good with ASM either but I did manage to (Partially) port the spin dash over to sonic 1, I’m not really good at anything, either that’s Art, ASM or just level design. I hope your hack gets better soon

 

Mini hack for SLDC on SHC Discord Server. Had a blast with level art and currently getting to design the level itself.
