So, we now know what it's like to be drunk on rings, but do we know what it's like to be doped on rings?

    Let's find out

About 60 rings should be substantial enough, but if you can go further, then be my guest.

Guess what? This is fun :p

It's much harder than Ring Ride 1, too.

Where are the pad sounds from? I think I remember them from a song. =P

EDIT: Either that or it's just random ambient pads.

Haha, easily the best Sonic on drugs experience ever. The concept is simply awesome and the performance is... genius, should I say, -- it really drives you insane!

20 rings. Whoah, man! Those sounds. I am the only one who can hear them? Am I the chosen one? Is that supernatural powers trying to contact me?

50 rings. I'm hearing some voices. I seem to understand them. I seem to understand everything. World's deepest secrets have opened to my mind!

60 dr... eh... rings. I AM IN THE HEAVEN. This is the heaven as I truly imagined it. Life is complete!

Holy crap man, that was an amazing trip! I could feel myself getting a little bit sleepy from just looking at the screen for a while...

Challenge: Play this with 999 Rings on Game Genie. I triple- fucking, quadruple dare you to play through the entire game with that!

Jesus christ nineko, you've really pushed the limits this time.

Actualy, try 7FFF rings instead of FFFF rings.

Best hack you've done so far, Jester!

I really enjoyed playing this one and, just like its predecessor, it's going on my "full playthrough to do" list  :p

What's the Game Genie code for the 999 rings?  <_<

Best trip ever is what I have to say. xD I loved both Ring Ride hacks but I think this one takes the cake MJ. :) Reminds me of Giygas from Earthbound, and to top things off i'm listening to Giygas is Fatally Wounded. :V I wonder though, will there be a Ring Ride 3? :p

I have been strongly considering a Ring Ride 3, but of course, being drunk and under the influence of psychological drugs are the two main keys, and I cannot think of anything real life experience that us as humans can go through, that will supersede Ring Ride 2 in terms of surrealism.

The only thing I can think of resorting to is having a certain amount of rings allows you to perform a "power up" move which greatly increases game speed/power whilst altering the graphics and sound to show the illusion of say, blur or speed or whatever, but that doesn't really sound like something that would surpass Ring Ride 2 graphically speaking.

    I'd be open to suggestions.

Why not make the rings make Sonic go insane? Sort of like the Very Ordinary Sonic 1 Hack, but less creepy.

I think that may have been intentional. But yeah, this is a really interesting hack! It's much more...psychedelic than Ring Ride 1 was. The interface screw here though is a lot more trippy, with the screen sway and drifting colors and all.

As for new ideas, perhaps everything moving in the game would increase speed for every ring Sonic collects (including Sonic himself), with an increasingly obtrusive motion blur?
