Sonic Hacking Contest 2015

Here's a copy of the header data from the disassembly. The only things changed are the name of the rom and the vectors table, i think (It's been awhile, so some other "miscellaneous" tweaks might be in there, too).

A reminder on deadlines as they are coming up:

The submissions deadline for entries will be Sunday 4th October 2015​ where you must submit a playable build by then to the contest site in order for it to be entered.
You then have a week to refine your entry, fix any issues found and improve your hack which will be Sunday 11th October 2015.

So if you've made an entry, you need a downloadable, playable build in by this Sunday in order for it to continue in the contest. No playable build, no entry.

 

Is there a time deadline on Sunday? I'm guessing midnight (11.59pm). I'm going to try and submit tonight but if I don't find the time then I won't be able to until Sunday as pretty busy.

 

It'll be midnight, BST, give or take a few seconds.

 

Can you delete your images/videos you uploaded? my Youtube link does not work so I was going to delete it and try again but there does not seem to be an option. I also think because of this I cannot set my entry to public.

 

If you read the text it told you how. :U Click-drag it to the bin in the bottom-right.

How to upload screenshots in entry? When I clicked "Upload Image" button, nothing appears and when I clicked it again it shows me an error. I have no problems with the rest including main screenshot representing my entry on SHC 2015...

 

Pop up blocker.  I had the same issue.  When I let the site to always allow pop ups, this stopped and screen shots worked.

Today is the last day of submissions. The deadline is midnight BST. Get it in now unless you want to be disappointed later.

 

Unless both Firefox and IE are being lame, is there a way to delete/remove screenshots/videos we've uploaded?  I can't see an option anywhere.

Reason being is that I accidentally loaded the same YouTube video twice, and neither of them will play.  Need to remove one of them and work out why it isn't playing through the site?

 

As the default text says, and as it is every year, you can drag them down to the bin that appears in the bottom right when you do so.

 

I'd already over-written the default text so I couldn't remember what it said, and I wasn't here last year and can't remember what it said 2 years ago =P

The youtube video works now too (Google Chrome) but not IE (no surprise) or Firefox...

 

Good luck everyone! I myself have not entered but I can't wait to see these hacks and also view MegaGWolf play them. It's going to be great! I like how you can see the previous contest's entries as well. Amazing work Cinossu!

Also, I wonder what's going to be entered into the Homebrew Contest? (hint: not me)

 

​I have Google Chrome and when I tried to play Youtube video on my entry, it shows me white screen and I tried many times... What I should do?
