    *Copy/paste from http://theocas.net/sonicromland/ starts here*

After endless hours of blood, sweat, and countless amounts of ASM hacking, we finnally present the awesomest hack we have ever made, Sonic The Hedgehog No-Name! Why No-Name you ask? Well, we really couldn’t think of a name, so we just found any random one we could.

Moving on, This hack contains tons of ASM edits. Here is a list of almost every ASM edit we made.

    -Peel-out (Selbi & Moon)

    -Spindash (???)

    -Superdash (Dandaman955)

    -Sonic 2 shield (Moon)

-Water in GHZ (Tornado & Theocas)

    -S3 monitors (vladikcomper)

    -S2 Sonic (Moon & Theocas)

    -Layouts (Theocas & Clarisonic1)

    -Jumpdash (Selbi)

    -S3 Rock (Moon)

    -Dynamic Palette System (PsychoSk8r)

-Sonic 2 Level Select and S3K Sound Driver (Esrael)

    -Spike Bug Fix (???)

    -Act-based Music Playlist (???)

    -New Sega Screen (???)

I hope thats everything! if I missed anything or forgot/didn’t know who to give credit to, let me know ASAP. :D

Anyway, now what you came here for! The hack itself!

well that can be fixed. We could help whenever we get some free time, and GHZ1 was probably the level I spent the most time on so that's greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It does look nice so far, but please fix Sonic's pallet in GHZ 2 and 3. I think you also fixed the Sega Sound, so you probably should credit whoever wrote the guide on it. I liked the music ports, but the Spindash needs to be fixed (camera scroll delay) but it's a good start. Hint: Add the REV01 background deform effects, they make it look better

    What do you mean "fix?"

That would be vladikcomper. In credit to him, that fits under "etc."

Thanks. Credit to Nineko for Bridge zone and Genesisfan64 for Splash Hill.

I remember "fixing" that in my old hack caused an even worse bug, so maybe.

I may try that later tomorrow.

By "Fix Sonic's Palette", I think he means it's a bit off.

I actually just guessed that, well, have you played any other act 2s or 3s?

If it is that, don't worry. I will do that.

You hit the nail on the head.

    Good, they did look strange.

It's actually fairly simple, there's a simple copypasta guide on Sonic Retro's SCHG How-To Guides Section.

And it's 7:35 PM here and I have used up 4 weeks of my summer break, and still have A LOT to go. And I'm sick since the last day of school. Wonderful. Anyways, hope your hack gets some more features soon, and like I said, PM me if you need help.

It's now 3:30am, and we're gonna get back on topic now aren't we?

This seems an interesting hack, the layout is one of the things that drew my attention, because not a lot of other hacks I've seen here have actually used the "wall" object to hide to oddness of the chunks, so well done for putting it to use! I would like to point out the few one or two odd chunks here and there and the fact that parts of the layout still look like a reminiscence of the original GHZ, maybe you should try giving it a fully redrawing, change the parts that still look the same. Because you seem to be heading in the right way...

I liked the Bridge Zone music remake, that I thought was pretty nicely done, the other tracks? Well they didn't really catch my attention I'm afraid.

Well to end it, good morning!

    Thanks!

You mean the middle of the stage?

Again, Nineko for Bridge Zone, GenesisFan64 for Splash Hil.

I appreciate all the feedback on GHZ1's layout guys. The reason act 3 has some original level in there is because it's not completely done yet. Other than that, the zone is pretty finished, and make sure u check out what's done in sbz1. It's been more than a year since the first release of this on hacktube, and back then it was called sonic 1 limited edition, but that's a n00bish name so we're still thinking of something. Progress will be kinda slow layout-wise due to the fact that I still have to learn soned2, but new asm features will make it soon.
