Just to push this out there in case anyone contacted a judge about access and hasn't had a reply, only Cinossu is able to deal with the exceptions, so send him a PM if you're having issues.

 

Should I join both Sonic Retro and SSRG?

 

You need to be a member here or Sonic Retro, that's what it says. So, you don't need to be a member on both.

 

As long as you have a full member account on one of the sites you can submit.

Also, one week left. If you don't want to be disappointed because you ended up putting in a late entry (which aren't accepted), submit your hack now. You can work on your hack further for an extra week after the deadline.

 

Just when I don't need it, Works decides to drag me in on my days off. More money, but more stress and less time to finish my hack for the contest. Oh well, I'll just do what I did last time, send it In, then pray to god when I update it, it will be more playable.

 

Re: late entries; add an entry now if you are thinking of entering the contest in the first place. Once the time is up, you won't be able to add a new entry at all, but you will still be able to edit existing entries for a further week. Even if you just leave it as a blank entry for now (we have a good number like that already), reserve the entry spot else you'll be all out of luck.

 

This may have been mentioned but as to Partial-Private, how will you judges see the hack?. What I mean is I've uploaded it(Well it said it was), but I could not see the link to it. Is this because I put it as partial-private? and only the judges signed it will see it?. I just want to make sure that you guys get it because as of it now, its not public worthy.

 

As far as I understand, partially private means the judges are the only ones with access to the hack itself. However you must present some media for the public to see on the site; screenshots and a video, I think are the requirements?

 

Yeah that's what happens - the public can't download and they can't vote it for Community Trophies.

Wow, it amazes me that after all these years, these contests are still going strong. Great job to all the hackers, and the people who put this together.  I look forward to playing all the public hacks.

 

And here I was going to leave them a secret until public viewing. Ah well.
