Come on, I know there's plenty to correct. Bring it on.
It says I apparently have 772 messages when I've only posted 361 according to the old SSRG, and whenever I try to look at my recent content or postings from my profile, it claims I haven't posted yet.
Sorry, I meant 722. Also, where's the edit button at? I was sure that there was an edit button for XenForo forums...
We don't have EDIT button?
There's an edit button. Right there at the bottom of your post, right next to the time when you posted.
I'm working on fixing post counts. Long story.
No there isn't.
Pic for proof:
Fixed. Also, post counts were divided by two, so they should be pretty much correct now.
I don't seem to be able to unlock my own locked topics.
Also, it seems a lot of the older posts with code in them suffer from sudden lack of them (example). The code just appears in-line, not even showing any surrounding tags in the HTML web source.
EDIT: I can edit:
Apparently this is the only thing I see at the music thread!
For the eaten links, I blame IPS and their strange embed magic that didn't work worth a damn. There's a lot of old stuff that will be broken because of IPS4's evil non-BBCode shit.
The "Trash" forum isn't locked. I didn't go through with it, but I would have been able to post a new reply or even a new topic.
Should be fixed now. Simple permission issue on members and trialists.
Reading a topic, then exiting out of it, still claims I haven't read it (appears bold). Clicking the ring monitor to mark that subforum read also doesn't appear to work. Tried this on both Firefox and IE so I don't think it's a browser issue (will try Chrome when I get home).
EDIT: Clicking the "Mark whole forum as read" works though, so that's something.
Clicking the ring monitor works on my end (Chrome).
As does going back to the main forum manually for showing read topics.
You have to double-click the monitor to make it mark the subforum as read. I've already made LazloPsylus aware of this, and also at how it's currently a little confusing, as the cursor turns to a click hand when you hover your cursor over the monitor. Monitors can also be broken multiple times (Even when broken) until you refresh or leave the page.
EDIT: If I try to edit a post in the 'Welcome to XenForo 1.5.3 thread', here -
and click 'More Options...' I get taken to a blank page and nothing happens.
For normal members, the editing feature seems to be limited in time, which isn't a bad thing per se, but it would make it harder to update the OP of a release topic.
Also, it seems that when you enabled the editing feature, you allowed people to delete their own posts as well -- again, limited in time, but members were never allowed to delete their posts on here before.
It's also bizzarre that the posts edited before the Xenforo migration are all reported as "last edited by a moderator" even when they were obviously edited by the posters themselves, it's probably a quirk of the converter.
Kind of minor, but the old preferences thing in IPB was moved to About Me on XenForo. Probably intentional though.
I'm not sure if this qualifies as a bug or was an intentional change, but the Favicon is different from the old one. I only noticed that because I happened to have two tabs of the different forums open.
@nineko Edit time is now unlimited for members. Limited to 60 minutes on Trialists, though. Also removed ability to delete own posts and threads. The whole "Last Edited by Moderator" thing is due to the converter.
@Selbi Yeah, that was intentional.
@redhotsonic Yeah, have to double-click the monitors for them to respond, and you have to manually refresh the page to display the proper state. Minor nitpick, I know, I'll see what I can do in a few days.
Also, nifty new feature that hasn't been mentioned yet: Mentions! Nifty way to get the attention of certain people. Depending on how people use it, though, I may end up disabling it.
I don't like how clicking on the most recent post of a topic shown on the side of each subforum brings you to that post instead of the first unread post of that topic.
