Before I can begin, I have to say a few things.

My dissasembly now is working properly.(BOO-YEAH)

I need some directions on how to give screenshots of my work on SonED2,

so if you have some a link for it, show it to me.

Either that or just give me a set of rules.

I promise to try not to be such a pain in the ass next time

    by asking already asked questions.

    - At the SonED2 window, click Alt+PrintScreen.

    - Open MSPaint.

    - Paste.

    - Save as PNG.

    - Upload to somewhere like tinypic.

    - Post here.

    - ???

    - PROFIT!

Oh, crap. I don't think I have Microsoft Paint. :D

I should probably go to Google and find a download for it.

So, SOTI, thank you for your help.

Now, get ready for shit 2 get real.

This is my new Scrap Brain Zone.

Made to look more Metallic Madness Past-ish, I'd say this is great work.

Layouts are already complete, and free of bugs due to objects.

This is my background. Hard work came into play when I made this. Hope you like it!

EDIT: The pictures have been deleted.

Not bad of a backround, not sure of what to make of those shapes though. The fg is ok, but I hope you improve it. Overall this looks promising keep it up.

Edit: I'd need to see the ingame shot I think for me to know whether the fg works with the bg.

oh, ooohhh, very interesting, do I see unique art for a change? impressive! Nice weird colours, extraordinary designs, and yet it just looks and feels good, how long did that take you? However long, Keep up the good work, you seem to know the difference between what "looks good" and what "looks shite" =)

Okay Animemaster, you asked for it. ;)

EDIT: Quick fact: I was listening to the Time Trax theme made by Tim Follin -

the Genesis version. It's freakin' epic. It pretty much influenced the artwork. =D

Alright guys, work has been steady, but I think I've done quite a bit.

I'll improve some of the art later and make the trees look more appropriate...

...AND FIX SOME PRETTY F*CKED UP LAVA.

I may need your help for this, but instead of being a bother,

asking you all, I'll do some moar research.

    Please ignore the "help" sign./monthly_06_2010/post-1147-1277755283_thumb.png

    Enjoy the artwork. :pingas:

Wow. this does look nice. About the lava, maybe some artwork you added, like the trees are overwriting VRAM data for the lava?

Uhh... OK. I didn't stare at it too long or my eyes would have melted :D Anyways, it does look nice to me, where'd you get that background? Self-made or from another game? Anyways, I think the orange is a tiny bit too bright at the top, so please darken that. Other than that, I think it's ok.

Self made, nothing ported. The inspiration was basically a more colorful oil ocean zone, without the oil. :D

What do you guys think should go behind the hourglass in the background? /monthly_07_2010/post-1147-1278816548_thumb.png

Oh, I thought that was just a background. What theme are you shooting for? I would add factory-like stuffs in the background..

I love the dithering skills you've put to use here, such a nice blend of colours, and I do love the fact that you're creating original designs insted of ripping them from everywhere back and forth (It's a fresh change).

Why not attempt some clouds? =)

This is looking pretty good, better than anything I could do. I do agree with theocas that the orange is a little hard on the eyes, but besides that, I love what I see.

WOW! That is simply awesome! The only thing I'd love to see is a bit more detail on the machinery in the background. It would probably be cool if there were like windows and animated smoke coming out the top of the machinery :D

But are you thinking of making a cycling pallet?
