Dude Darkon, there are 47 hacks in the contest, and beating Sonic 2 takes up to about 45 minutes, that is too long for one hack to be streamed when there are a lot more to get to.  I know you are excited but please they are on a schedule, also its his stream he decides how much he wants to or should play.

Which is why I said "By chance".

Mostly when every hack is done.

Well, I'm gonna post what I think of some of the hacks from the contest. Just a fair warning: This is all opinion, NOT factJust coming out with that simple statement.

Rating System: Scores will be based on a grading system from F to A+.

    An Apeeling Sonic Hack

    by VAdaPEGA

I wanna say right here: I don't like the Super Peel-out. It's clunky to use, you're practically vulnerable when using it, and it's an all around waste of a button-D-Pad combination. So, VAda did a good job annoying me in the right way. Like Pantufa the Cat, VAda has made the game a rage game that you will bash your head against the wall because of it. It doesn't make it bad, though. It's a fun little challenge to get through Sonic 1 with either your favorite Sonic move, or the bane of your existence.

    Score: A

    CrazySonic

    by @Ralakimus

CrazySonic? Well, let's see how weird this gets.

    1 Play session later...

    *on the floor, dryheaving*

In all seriousness, this hack is hilarious! Rala, I have to give a round of applause for you. The hack was the most unique thing I have seen from the contest. I can't talk about the game itself because I don't wanna ruin the surprise, but you can play the hack yourself now!

    Score: A+

    Hedgehog Abuse Simulator

    by @Selbi

Now, this hack is a real blast. The story(which, fun fact, Selbi put in last minute!) is that Tails had enough of Sonic's s*it and is now wanting to abuse him. That's what you do. You abuse Sonic. With spikes.

    Also you can do this:

    it really fuhn C:

    Score: A+

    Knuckles' Emerald Hunt

    by @MainMemory

A really fun game that is reminiscent of Sonic Adventure 2, Knuckles' Emerald Hunt is amazing! It uses what I like to call the Sonic 2 & Knuckles combination rom, modifies it heavily, and there. It uses a randomized emerald placement in the same fashion as the big Press Your Luck board, as in there are preset patterns for the emeralds, so, if you memorize them, you can see them as predictable. That doesn't make it bad though. It's still a solid, fun experience anyway you look at it.

    Score: A

Sonic 1 - Return to Homeland

    by @LordXernom and @AmatuerSonicHacker

Now, remember that this is my opinion. In no circumstances do I particularly HATE the people that worked on this. I only dislike the work. And, ho boy do I dislike the work! The music is just a jumble of sounds and instruments, the level design is tasteless, and the glitches...oh god the glitches. The advice I would give Xernom and ASH: Work harder.

Score: D+, at best, F, at worst

Sonic 1 - The Next Level

    by @MarkeyJester

    Markey.

You know I love this hack.

You know everyone loves this hack.

I want to say that you are the god of Sonic hacking.

    I want your holy blessing.

Score: A+ for our lord and saviour, MarkeyJester.

(In my honest opinion, I loved this hack through and through. Good job, dude. ;))

    Sonic Bash!

    by RedHotSonic

It's a fun VS hack of multiple Sonic games(at least, I believe so) that pits both of you against the boss fight of you and the other player's choosing. It's fun and simple and I like it.

    Score: A

And those are my reviews of some of the hacks in SHC 2015! I'll see you again at 2016's competition!

Let me tell the tale of Sonic 1 - Return to Homeland.

About a month or 2 before the SHC deadline, I joined Team LordXernom. I helped do stuff for LX such as solids, basic ASM and bugfixing. I was going to suggest changing some of the music that I don't think fits but before I knew it, the deadline was up! I also was working on my hack Sonic 1 Warped World at the time, so my time for S1-RTH went down. These are the only reasons I couldn't work harder. If you PM me/LordXernom about the bugs, and everything you don't like, I'm sure we can work towards fixing it. Thanks.

I would like to say thank you for replying.

I didn't know that the deadline was up before you could fix everything. I would like to say sorry for this, and I would like to request to be a beta tester for S1-RTH, as well as any other hacks you have in development, as condolence. Again, I apologize.

    Love and hugs,

    Psukeo.

I know you said the results will be posted afterwards, but will the stream be uploaded and available to watch at a later time?  Chances are, I might not be able to watch the stream today.

I deem MarkeyJester the "god of hacking" and therefore disqualified from all future contests so us mortals have a chance.

Heh, Markey made a nice sweep through the contest this year. Really, though, rather than asking to not let someone submit next year for being too good, why not instead look at it as a challenge? There's nothing stopping you from making something crazy impressive except yourself. Devise an idea and build a solid, polished hack around it, and you'd be surprised what you can accomplish. Set the bar high, and shoot for the stars. Don't settle. Anyone (and I mean anyone) can make something amazing. Just have to put in the effort and time and care to make it flourish.

MarkeyJester won more than half of the trophies he could have won. You sire, are a master of the hacking arts and I commend thee on said mastery of thine craft. Us mere peasents have much to learn. Seriously though Sonic the Next Level was amazing and deserves the accolades it's receiving. I don't know what your plans are for next year but I'd love to see more levels added on, or make another hack. I'm sure it'll be awesome either way.

What a crazy year. I had a great time being a streamer and had fun with my first year as a judge. If you missed all my streams you can check out the playlist here.

    Thanks for having me. =)
