    Effort! Honest to God effort!

I can tell you're taking your hack more seriously, and I contragulate you for that! You're doing things I don't even know how to do, like the new bumpers and the loops in other levels. Your hack's taking a step in the rightest of all directions, and in a while, it'll be great! Keep up the good work!

New Badnik for Dark Dungeon Zone: Dinobot

The sprite is ported from Sonic 2 Beta. Dinobot walks like motobug and fires fireballs.

Maybe I will create new enemies, like Splats for Bouncy Blast Zone.

New enemies, though, are enemies that are either based off of an existing enemy but have a unique twist, or are new ideas entirely.

Still, I'm liking where this is going.

I'm glad to see this little hack has finally got some ground to stand on! It looks a lot better, and I'm sure my next playthrough will have more pros then cons!

Sounds so cool. You needed to replace some badnick from MZ or you simply added "new one"? Anyway, that''s really nice and I like the pillars palette.

I am ashamed you removed the SEGA from the zone clear music |:(

But really, its an okay hack, nothing to put up a tear, but very well made.

    *golf clap*

The only thing I might be a big complaint for me is that it's not to original,

just editing the pallets, while there fine colors, I feel you could have done more.

And mabey some less 3D blast tracks, just saying.

    Guys,

Due to real life issues, I can't make hacks or SFGDK for a long time.

Forget about me until I finish school.

It isn't that hard to get a little hacking done in your free time. Besides, why should we forget about you? Your screenshots were promising, and even if your inactive, it doesn't mean you aren't there :p

You should really stop worrying that we will think bad of you for not devoting every passing moment to this hack. It's not healthy.

Speak for yourself. When I released S2R, I said I'd release an update in a month with everyone's suggestions and bug fixes. That was a year and a half ago =P

I am pretty sure no one is gonna forget about your hack with those screenshots. I am VERY busy with school right now but I still use hacking as a fun little pass time when I have some free time. Just work on the hack when it suits you. Its ok if you don't work on it until you are done with those issues. It is your hack after all and no one is going to force you to do it.

Sonic Star Adventure is named back to Sonic 1: Stardust Gear Edition.

Sonic Star Adventure will be the name of the next major release of SSA/S1:SGE.

What's the point? If you're just going to change it back for your next major release of the hack then I really don't understand your logic. It's almost as if you were just looking for an excuse to post in the topic again.

I am going to start over my hack (Although some data will keep being).

    The plan is:

Use Project 128. (How could I make Speedy Street Zone without this?)

    Use S3K Flamewing sound driver.

    Port Sonic 2 Special Stages.

    Edit Art for all zones.

    Change Title Screen.

    Create new objects and bosses.

You may need to wait long time, because I can't continue my hack due to... the school.

Anyway, Sonic Star Adventure will have a new topic. And call the previous version "Stardust Gear Edition".

I'm siding with Stephen on this one.  I don't understand the point of this, either.

And start over?!  Why couldn't you keep your original hack and work on it?  I understand you have school to worry about, but I'm sure it won't take that long if you put some effort into it.

Why are you restarting? Things were just getting good! What reason is there to do so? As for switching to the 128 dissassembly, again, why? You seem to know your way around S1's loops, so I see no issue.

Based on what you said there, about wanting 128 size tiles and the S2 special stages, I don't see why you don't just hack Sonic 2 to start with. You plan on changing all of the level art anyway and making new objects and bosses, so there's no reason to start with S1 and try to port over the S2 special stage. Entirely up to you of course, but it just seems like wasted time for what you're trying to achieve.

I move to Sonic 2 disassembly... and port Sonic 1 objects and levels.

I will port Sonic 2 Clone Driver and the 4-Act system.

Sonic Star Adventure will stay the name of Sonic 2: Stardust Gear Edition.
